Rick Barot has published two collections
of poetry with Sarabande Books: The Darker Fall (2002) and Want
(2008). His poems have recently appeared in The New Republic, Tin
House, and The Threepenny Review. He has received grants
from the National Endowment for the Arts, the Artist Trust of Washington, and
Stanford University, where he was a Wallace Stegner Fellow and a Jones Lecturer
in Poetry. He lives in Tacoma, Washington and teaches at Pacific Lutheran
University and in the low-residency Program for Writers at Warren Wilson
College.
